Keisean Nixon became a fan-favorite player last year for good reason. His special teams play gave fans a taste of something they have not seen in a while. After he signed a new deal, the coaching staff seemed to indicate that they would try him at corner as well. It seems he is embracing his new role. Keisean Nixon welcomed Jayden Reed on social media and is ready to compete against him in practice.

Keisean Nixon Welcomes Jayden Reed To The Packers
Nixon is ready to compete against the newest Packers. His message on Twitter was “1on1 gone be fun”. Reed is a speedy wide receiver having run a 4.45 time in the 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine. Nixon is ready to challenge that speed. He has shown off his own speed on his kick returns so the matchups in practice should be a lot of fun to watch.

Offensive Help Incoming
The Packers have focused on the offense in the second and third rounds. Jayden Reed was sandwiched in between two tight ends, Luke Musgrave and Tucker Kraft. Jordan Love is going to have no shortage of young weapons to throw to as these players join Aaron Jones, Christian Watson, A.J. Dillon, and Romeo Doubs. After round one GM Brian Gutekunst made sure that Love is surrounded with weapons.
Nixon is excited for Jayden Reed along with a lot of other people on the team. This might be a matchup to watch once training camp comes along.
