Jordan Love is in some pretty exclusive company
Jordan Love is one of 13 NFL QB’s to start every game for his team this season. He may have had moments this year where his performance has driven Packer fans crazy, but at least he plays. He leaves fans knowing that “at least his crazy gets to be our crazy?!”
There have been 58 total NFL quarterbacks this season. 58! That certainly makes it hard for NFL teams to find any consistency on offense.
Journalist Bill Speros put it into some perspective here:

Packers New QB Believes “The Sky’s the Limit”: His History Says that Can Be True
Jordan Love is 25 years old. He seems to have been pretty “put together” for a 25 year old.
Some of Love’s offseason comments were pretty measured:
I think we’ve got playmakers on offense. I think all the weapons we have at receiver, tight end and running back, we’ve got guys who can make plays. … I think once everybody gets rolling, gets comfortable with the offense and being where they need to be every play, the sky’s the limit for us.
For Love this season he has been able to put up “top-10”-type quarterback stats. He has thrown for 25 TDs and only 11 INTs. He has also completed 304 passes.
Something that has also gone somewhat unnoticed with Love are his rushing statistics. Love has rushed for 234 yards this season. He also has 2 rushing touchdowns. That added threat has certainly helped this Packer offense.
Love at Utah State and High School: Some Brief History
Jordan Love has always needed to be pretty “put together”. He has also needed to be there and consistent for his family.
Love went through an unbelievable tragedy at the age of 14 when his father passed away. The son of Orbin and Anna Love, Jordan lost his father at the age of 14, but he kept going and grew in stature, eventually becoming a star at Liberty High School in Bakersfield in Southern California.
Jordan Love was the first player in Utah State University’s history drafted in the first round. That alone is a pretty cool lifetime accomplishment. Love went through a few different coaching changes while he played but one thing remained constant, everyone around him felt his arm strength was a “God-Given talent.”
Love has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah State in Exercise Science.
Even though Love went through this tragedy at the age of 14 after his father’s death, he still graduated from college, was drafted and has persevered. Of course, just like California quarterback star Aaron Rodgers, the Packers hope this new California kid can have even half the success.

What can fans expect from Jordan Love as he takes on the Carolina Panthers?
Well, much of the same: he’ll play and make the occasional stunning pass. But again, fans know he’ll be there. As the old saying goes sometimes a players best ability is their availability. Packers players and coaches have been able to rely on Love being there. And in a year where 58 NLF Quarterbacks have seen time that is quite impressive.
