Jets rookie defensive back Sauce Gardner hints at a potential big move for Aaron Rodgers
With just one NFL game left this season, the rumor mill will continue to heat up in the coming weeks ahead of the new league year. And the Aaron Rodgers situation will be in the center of it all.
In the past few weeks alone the rumors have swirled with Rodgers and what his future is with the Green Bay Packers. One team that continues to be mentioned in the rumors is the New York Jets.
On Tuesday, star defensive back Sauce Gardner added some more fuel to the fire on the rumors when he appeared on Good Morning Football. Gardner hinted that he ‘knew a little something about something’ when asked about the rumors:

Aaron Rodgers is taking his time
There seems to be no rush for Rodgers in terms of determining his future with the Packers for the 2023 season. He’s under contract after signing a big deal last year but there are outs for him and the team if they decide to part ways.
The one that is currently fueling the rumors is a trade.
The Jets are a team that does make sense for Rodgers as they fell short of making the playoffs this past season with inconsistent quarterback play. It’s clear that Zach Wilson and Mike White not being the answer at the position.
And the roster is very talented. Gardner is already among the best defensive backs in the league and with a rising defense, it might be the perfect fit for Rodgers if he does want to move on.
One thing we know for sure is that the rumors will continue to be flying around for weeks…
