Even though James Jones spent a total of eight seasons in Green Bay, he has been a fairly impartial reporter for NFL Network. However, he certainly makes it known that he is a big Packers supporter and Aaron Rodgers friend / fan. That sometimes boils over to social media where Jones will defend Rodgers no matter what. That happened again today as James Jones pointed out something very interesting. Tom Brady was seen today visibly upset with his offense. It went viral on Twitter.
Tom Brady Clearly Not Happy With How Things Were Going:

It also continued on the sidelines as Brady was clearly upset with what he saw:

These videos quickly went viral online and many had their own reactions. One of the common reactions was comparing how Tom Brady’s narrative is often painted as a “competitor” or “leader” when he goes through these types of moments. He is just simply “demanding the best out of his players.” However, when Aaron Rodgers does the same things it is greeted with a very different response. Former Packers wide receiver James Jones noticed this and had something to say about it.
If @AaronRodgers12 acted like Tom Brady on the sidelines he wouldn’t be labeled a competitor🤷🏾♂️

Those are pretty telling words coming from a former player. Fans have certainly noticed it over the years but to have a player validate the same issue is nice to see.
This article is not to drag down others. I am well aware that Tom Brady, in his own right, has earned the right to conduct himself on the field how he sees fit. This is simply to highlight that the national media doesn’t like Aaron Rodgers. He doesn’t fit into their cookie cutter box. The double standard is played out, yet highlighted once again with this Tom Brady situation.
