Former Packers All-Pro cornerback Jaire Alexander has signed with the Baltimore Ravens, according to multiple reports on Wednesday, adding quality depth to what is already one of the most gifted secondaries in the NFL.
According to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Alexander’s deal with the Ravens is a one-year pact, worth $6 million.
In Baltimore, Alexander reunites with his former college teammate, Lamar Jackson, from their time together at Louisville.
Green Bay released the 28-year-old former All-Pro following an offseason’s long contract impasse, moving on from the stalwart in the secondary on the eve of the Packers’ mandatory minicamp getting underway.

Alexander is the kind of signing who can immediately upgrade a Ravens secondary that’s tasked with facing the likes of Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, and D.K. Metcalf twice each per season in the loaded AFC North.
In all likelihood, Alexander will walk into a starting role with the Ravens, after being expendable in Green Bay.
Alexander finished last season with 16 tackles, and two interceptions, with one returned for a touchdown, in an injury riddled season where he was only available for seven games.
A lengthy injury history is a key reason why the Packers moved on from Alexander, who was limited to seven games apiece each of the past two seasons and has only appeared in 16 or more games once since the 2020 season.
Through his first seven seasons, Alexander has produced 287 total tackles while pulling down 12 interceptions, with one returned for a touchdown.
