Entering the game, the Jacksonville Jaguars were 2-5 on the season and the Green Bay Packers were 5-2 on the season. Brandon McManus kicked the game-winning field goal as time expired for the Packers in a 30-27 win over the Jaguars.

With the win, Green Bay improved to 6-2 on the season. As for Jacksonville, they dropped to 2-6 on the season. They are in danger of missing the playoffs for the second consecutive season.

Pederson is in his third season with the Jaguars. He won the AFC South Title in his first year with the Jaguars, but it has not been good for them ever since. After the loss against the Green Bay Packers, Jacksonville fans want him fired. Here is what they had to say about it on Twitter:

Bye Doug. This dude really cleared house on the defensive side and managed to put together an even worse staff. Trevor balled out today and we couldn’t even stop a 2nd string QB.

ITS TIME TO FIRE EVERYONE! WILLIS SHOULD NEVER BE ABLE TO HIT A WIDE OPEN GUY LIKE THAT! NIELSEN NEEDS TO GO NOW!!! THIS DEF IS HOT GARBAGE!!!

    — Garret (@DuvalTillIDie82) October 27, 2024

Thank you for everything, Doug Pederson, but it’s time for a change. We’ll be back on top, #Duuuval, but this just isn’t our year.

Not watching another game until the staff including Trent are gone 🤷 Trevor gonna do all that just to be immediately let down. Why are we calling timeouts on a Packers 4th down with almost 4 minutes left?? Embarrassing stuff.

There is still time for the Jacksonville Jaguars to turn it around this season. If they continue to lose, Doug Pederson may not see a fourth season with the Jaguars. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence has been up and down this season.

    Philadelphia Eagles Next Opponent

Next week, Pederson will once again return to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and face the Eagles. Philadelphia is 5-2 this season and they are looking to avoid losing to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Doug Pederson will be in must-win territory from here on out.

As for the Green Bay Packers, they are in a comfortable position with head coach Matt LaFleur leading the way. The Jaguars won’t be firing Pederson tomorrow, but it could happen at the end of the season or it may wait.
