Jackson Chourio is off to a great start at Double-A Biloxi to begin the 2023 season. In his first seven games he has already accumulated three home runs. Two of them came in one game in which he hit a walk off home run. Most recently, he hit a three run bomb off of Miami Marlins top pitching prospect Eury Perez.
Perez, who is the Marlins top prospect, won the first two at-bats against Chourio as he got him to strike out both times. During the third at bat, with two runners on base, Chourio got the last laugh as he launched a three run home run that bounced off the foul pole.

Baseball America currently has Jackson Chourio as the top overall prospect in the game. To see him perform against other organizations top pitching talents is incredible. If he continues to play well the 19 year old could force the Brewers to promote him to Triple-A at some point this season.
