Jack Coan Picks Up First XFL Win
Coan had an impressive day on Sunday. He went 16/24 and threw 3 touchdowns. These weren’t all easy throws either. One of the touchdown passes was a beauty where Coan threaded the needle between two defenders to hit his tight end. Coan was not drafted by the team and was assigned to their roster. However, it seems like he has solidified his role as the starting quarterback for the Brahmas.

XFL Is Highly Entertaining
It definitely isn’t NFL football but the XFL has been highly entertaining through the first two weeks. There has been some high-level play like Coan’s performance. There have been close games that have come down to the wire. The different rules feel fun and fresh. It is definitely worth a watch if you are missing football. Fans also get to see some players of the past and some might make it onto an NFL roster in the fall if they play well enough.
It is always great to see a former Badger succeed. Whether it is on the field or off the field, the people of Wisconsin love to see former players succeed.
