The Green Bay Packers are 7-3 this offseason and have one of the most talented offenses in the NFL. One reason the offense is very talented is the drafting that general manager Brian Gutekunst has done over the last few years. Some of the talented offensive players on the roster are Jordan Love, Christian Watson, Jayden Reed, Tucker Kraft, and others.
One of the reasons why they have been successful is also because of head coach Matt LaFleur and also because of offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich. Stenavich is only 41 years old.
NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero Thinks That Green Bay Packers Offensive Coordinator Adam Stenavich Could Be a Head Coach This Upcoming Coaching Cycle
Many NFL teams will eventually be looking for new head coaches. The Chicago Bears, the New Orleans Saints, the New York Jets, and other teams could potentially be looking this offseason.
One of the names that could be a new head coach next season is Packers offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero. He listed a bunch of other names on Wednesday. Pelissero said:
“An All-Big Ten offensive lineman at Michigan who bounced around for parts of five NFL seasons, Stenavich returned to pro football as the 49ers’ assistant offensive line coach in 2017 and then the Packers as OL coach in 2019. He handles most of Green Bay’s run game, which ranks among the NFL’s best (149.9 yards per game). He works with not only the offensive line but the quarterbacks, too. From overseeing the offense during the week to helping from the coaches’ booth on game day, Stenavich is an invaluable asset to Matt LaFleur, who told me recently of his OC: “He’s brilliant.””
Stenavich has played a huge role in developing quarterback Jordan Love over the last two seasons. There were a lot of questions about him before then.
Top 5 In Yards Per Game
For all of the complaints about Jordan Love’s turnovers this season, the Green Bay Packers have a Top 5 offense in the NFL. They are ranked fourth in the NFL in yards per game, averaging 388.2 yards per game this season under offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich.
For a team that will need an offensive head coach, Stenavich has had the track record for the last couple of seasons. He may not be the hottest name on the coaching market, but it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him get some head coaching interviews this offseason.
