The Green Bay Packers were forced to trade Davante Adams to the Las Vegas Raiders. In return, they received a first and second round pick in this year’s draft. In addition, the move allowed them to free up cap space that they used to sign Rasul Douglas, De’Vondre Campbell, and Jarren Reed. However, the loss of Adams does leave the Packers lacking at wide receiver. Quite lacking. It even appears that the team will lose MVS to free agency. That means that the team currently has Allen Lazard, Randall Cobb, Juwann Winfree, and Amari Rodgers as their top four receivers next year. While the team will undoubtedly draft one or two in the early rounds, they could possibly trade for a veteran on the market. Packers’ legend LeRoy Butler thinks the team should trade for DK Metcalf.

According to some rumors, the Packers have already reached out to the Seattle Seahawks regarding Metcalf’s availability. They have also inquired about Metcalf’s teammate, Tyler Lockett.
