Green Bay Packers right tackle Zach Tom was recently named a first-team All-Pro by the PFF this 2024 season, beating out viable candidates like Philadelphia Eagles’ Lane Johnson and Detroit Lions’ Penei Sewell to get the recognition.
Zach Tom took the honors after earning high grades compared to other offensive tackles. The former no. 140 pick is ranked third in run-blocking grade (90.0), 11th in pass-blocking grade (82.1), and fourth in overall grade (87.6).
He also gave up only 24 total pressures and three sacks, on 562 pass-blocking snaps and was penalized only seven times. Zach Tom was crucial in opening up the right side for running back Josh Jacobs, who rushed for 1,329 yards and 15 touchdowns.
The Wake Forest product has been with the Green Bay Packers since 2022. He has started at right tackle each of the last two seasons for the squad.
