It has been clear for some time now that the New York Jets will do just about anything to convince Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers to agree to be traded to them. Nathaniel Hackett has been hired as offensive coordinator and several Jets players have taken to social media to recruit Rodgers to their team. In a breaking report by ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Jets are now in talks in Allen Lazard, one of Rodgers’ favorite wide receivers:

Another Reporter Confirmed the Jets’ Interest in Green Bay Packers Wide Receiver Allen Lazard
Another ESPN reporter, Jeremy Fowler, confirmed Schefter’s report, stating that the Jets are interested in all the things that Lazard brings to the table with or without Rodgers:

Yesterday, Trey Wingo said the following:
“Aaron Rodgers is indeed moving toward accepting a trade that would send him out the land of the Cheesehead and into the Big Apple. It hit our radar screen because Rodgers is involved in trying to persuade one or more free agents to join the Jets.”
Earlier this offseason, Lazard was one of the players that Rodgers mentioned as one that he would like to play with if he decided to come back in 2023.
It is not clear what other team is still involved in talks with Lazard, but he has been linked to the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens in several reports.
