The Green Bay Packers are getting healthier and healthier are the right time of year.
On Wednesday (Jan. 4) morning, Packers writer, Mike Spofford offered the following updates for the club’s injury report ahead of their week 18 clash against the Detroit Lions:
Full Participation
- WR: Christian Watson (hip)
- DB: Keisean Nixon (groin)
Did Not Practice
- QB: Aaron Rodgers (maintenance day)
The biggest news of the day is the return of star rookie wideout, Christian Watson, who, of course, did not participate fully in any practice, last week, and didn’t touch the practice field at all until logging a limited session on Friday morning ahead of the Packers’ 41-17 victory over the Minnesota Vikings.
The Packers will need all hands on deck as the club is preparing to host the Detroit Lions on Sunday Night Football in Lambeau Field, with both teams needing a win to secure the final playoff berth in the NFC.
