The Green Bay Packers have been blessed with amazing quarterback play for years. Between Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers it was never in doubt that Green Bay would be a contender to open almost every season. After Rodgers was traded to the New York Jets this offseason, many expected that to change.
Jordan Love entered the 2023 season with a lot of eyes on him and plenty of critics. No one expected him to put together a big season and lead the Packers to the playoffs. That’s exactly what he has done.
After guiding Green Bay to a massive Week 18 win over the Chicago Bears, the Packers got into the playoff as the No. 7 seed in the NFC. That has led to them facing off against the Dallas Cowboys in the Wild Card round.

Speaking of the Packers’ top-notch quarterback play for years, a new statistic has emerged that shows just how good they have been.
NFL on CBS posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, the rankings over the last 30 years for team passing touchdowns. Right now, the Packers are blowing the competition out of the water.

Love has continued on the long legacy of Packers’ quarterback play. He ended the regular season completing 64.2 percent of his pass attempts for 4,159 yards, 32 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions. In addition to his passing numbers, he also picked up 247 and four touchdowns on the ground.
At this point in time, it seems the Green Bay Packers are headed for many more years of superstar quarterback play. Love has risen to the occasion and completely shut down his critics.
Very few teams can say that they’ve done with that the Packers have accomplished if Love continues to play like this long-term. It’s an absolute wonder that they continue cranking out elite quarterback. The statistic above is just more proof of how well the Green Bay Packers have done.
