The Green Bay Packers may be days away from knowing the future of Aaron Rodgers. Last year, the four-time MVP signed his three-year $150 million extension on March 8. As the days tick by, fans and analysts alike are wondering what his decision will be. Rodgers’ current and former teammates have been asked all offseason what they think he will do. What they think, not what he will do. The only person who knows what he may do is Rodgers himself. The fact of the matter is that Rodgers does not talk to all of his teammates during the offseason. For this reason, AJ Dillon, in a recent interview, revealed what he told Rodgers the last he spoke to him.

Here is what AJ Dillon had to say about Rodgers and his looming decision in his interview this past week:
“I really don’t talk too much about other people outside of the field. But the last time I spoke to 12 (Aaron Rodgers) was at the exit meetings. I just said to him ‘Hey, regardless of what goes down, it’s been an honor and a pleasure playing with you. I hope to see you next year.
“He’s a grown man that makes his own decisions. And I got nothing but great things to say. He’s been a leader. Somebody who’s helped me out tremendously in my growth since I stepped foot in that locker room. Nothing but nice words and I think he’ll make the best decision for him.”
Over the course of a NFL preseason and regular season, any given player will have over 100 teammates. It is not fair to expect Rodgers to keep in touch with everyone. Of course he has close friends on the team he talks to outside of the facility and during the offseason, but no one should read anything into the fact that Rodgers and Dillon have not spoken since January.
