The Green Bay Packers recently made a free-agent signing that helped their defensive depth. LB Justin Hollins recently signed with the Packers on a one-year deal. Hollins will provide continue to provide depth to the inside linebacker group that is led by De’Vondre Campbell and Quay Walker. After his signing, it was reported that Hollins actually turned down an NFC rival to play in Green Bay.
LB Justin Hollins Turned Down The New York Giants To Play With The Green Bay Packers

According to Kenneth Teape:
The Green Bay Packers have been very quiet thus far this offseason. They haven’t been very active in free agency in large part because they are working on finding a resolution to their Aaron Rodgers situation. Rodgers has made it clear he no longer wants to be in Green Bay and plans to play in 2023 with the New York Jets.
The Packers aren’t going to just give him what he wants, as they want some real compensation in return from the Jets. However, the longer that drags on, the less time the team will have to address other needs on the roster.
The only signings that the Packers have made that weren’t their free agents were long-snapper Matt Orzech from the Los Angeles Rams and Tarvarius Moore, a safety from the San Francisco 49ers.
Most of the work that Green Bay has done has been reworking contracts and re-signing their own free agents. One of the players that they were able to re-sign was EDGE defender Justin Hollins. However, it did take some work.
According to Doug Rush, the New York Giants attempted to sign Hollins in free agency. Hollins met with Big Blue on Wednesday but opted against signing with them. Instead, he agreed to a one-year, $1.2 million deal to return to the Packers.
Justin Hollins is re-signing with the Packers on a 1-year, $1.2M deal.
