Only five games remain to predict for the Green Bay Packers 2024 schedule. I currently have the Packers at 9-3 with losses to the Rams, 49ers, and Jaguars. It is probably a little over-confident, but I really like this team going into this season. I believe the momentum they gathered at the end of last season will carry into this year. Here is how I see the final five games ending.
Green Bay Packers Schedule Prediction: Week 14: At Detroit Lions
Ford Field is becoming one of the toughest places to play in the NFL. This will be a Thursday night game for the the Green Bay Packers.
I think this is a season split for the two best teams in the NFC North. While Green Bay did get an impressive win in Detroit on Thanksgiving Day last year, it will be hard to bet against the Lions at home. It’s a place where they can score a lot of points. Green Bay would have to do what they did last year with scoring points and forcing turnovers. I think this is a loss.
Week 15: At Seattle Seahawks
Seattle could be a team that struggles this year, but they are a team that plays well at home. The good news for the Green Bay Packers? Despite a west coast trip on Sunday Night Football, they will have 10 off before this game.
As I mentioned when predicting the Rams game, the Packers don’t play well on the west coast. Seattle has a great home crowd and the noise matters. I think it’ll be a close game, but the Packers drop a second game in a row here.
Week 16: Vs New Orleans Saints
Just before Christmas, the Green Bay Packers return home for Monday Night Football to take on the Saints. It’ll be a tough task for a dome team like New Orleans to go into what will likely be a cold Lambeau Field and get a prime time road win.
On both sides the ball, the Saints don’t have a player that can make a difference in a game. I still like what Alvin Kamara does at running back, but he is getting to be an older back. I think the Green Bay Packers cruise in this game to end their two game losing streak.
Week 17: At Minnesota Vikings
The J.J. McCarthy news is really tough for the Vikings and for the NFL. I think he has a bright future in this league. Who knows if it will even be Sam Darnold at quarterback in this game.
I think the Vikings will be out of playoff contention by the time this game happens, but road division games are never a guarantee win. I think this game is closer than Green Bay Packers fans would like. However, at the end of the day, Green Bay will have the better quarterback regardless who starts for the Vikings. I think that is the difference and the Packers get it done in a close game.
Week 18: Vs Chicago Bears
Who knows where the Bears will be at, but I know they won’t be one of the worst teams in the league. It will also be Caleb Williams first game at Lambeau Field.
I think The Green Bay Packers will have clinched a playoff spot by this point. They could still be playing for a division title or playoff seeding. Either way, I think they starters play. At some point I think Chicago gets a road win here, but it won’t be this year. I think the Packers win this game and sweep the season series again.
