The Green Bay Packers have an important assignment this Monday night, as they are set to take on the New Orleans Pelicans at Lambeau Field for the final game of Week 16 of the 2024 NFL regular season.
A win will officially secure a spot in the NFL playoffs for the Packers, who will enter the Saints game with a 10-4 record – third in the NFC North division and fourth-best overall in the NFC.
Early Monday, ESPN shared a post to hype up fans for the meeting between the Packers and the Saints, and it has since generated a ton of reactions from fans.

“Packers all day, not even close🤣”
“Josh Jacobs legacy game”
“bring on the cold and the action”
“With the cold weather… I can’t wait to see this!”
“Should be an epic matchup! ❄️🏈 Can’t wait for Saints-Packers at Lambeau! #GoPackGo”
Green Bay Packers can’t take the New Orleans Saints for granted
The Saints are already out of playoff contention as they only sport a 5-9 record, but the Packers can’t overlook a team that practically has nothing to lose.
That being said New Orleans will not have some of their big weapons like quarterback Derek Carr and running back Alvin Kamara, which is good news for the Packers’ defense that is allowing just 20.5 points per game and 320.4 total yards per contest – eighth and ninth in the NFL this season, respectively.
The weather is going to be cold at Lambeau Field for this contest with the gametime temperature expected to be at 31 degrees, according to AccuWeather.
