The Green Bay Packers will be heavy underdogs when they take on the Dallas Cowboys in AT&T Stadium. Dallas is coming off a strong 12-win season that captured the NFC East crown.
The Packers will need to execute on all three levels if they want to upset the Cowboys on the road. Of course, one of the top priorities will be keeping pace with the highest scoring offense in the NFL. Dallas averaged 29.9 points per game this season. Green Bay Packers Clear Massive Weapon To Play Against The Dallas Cowboys
According to ESPN’s Rob Demovsky, Romeo Doubs has been cleared to play this weekend in the Packers’ Wild Card matchup.
After suffering a chest injury during the Packers’ Week 18 victory over the Bears, Doubs was unable to practice on Wednesday and Thursday. However, it won’t impact his availability for Sunday’s playoff opener, something that cannot be said for fellow wide receiver Christian Watson (hamstring), who is listed as questionable.
Doubs, who has topped 80 percent of snaps in 12 of 17 appearances this season, will remain Green Bay’s top WR regardless of Watson’s availability.
With 59 receptions for 674 yards, Doubs ranked second on the team behind only rookie Jayden Reed. He also tied Reed with eight touchdown catches. His availability on Sunday could loom large for a Packers offense who will certainly need to put up points to come away victorious.
