The Green Bay Packers rival. the Chicago Bears currently have a 0-3 record and would own the top NFL Draft selection if the regular season ends today, but it obviously doesn’t. This would be the second consecutive season that they would finish the regular season with the worst record in the NFL.
Chicago also has another top-five selection if the season ended today from the Carolina Panthers, and that would be the fourth selection. The Denver Broncos and the Minnesota Vikings would be selecting second and third overall in the 2024 NFL Draft. The only hope that the Green Bay Packers rivals have is the 2024 NFL Draft.
Green Bay fans can be making fun of Chicago all they want now, but if they continue to keep and lose, so does Carolina, they can potentially land some top prizes in this year’s draft. The Bears could make massive changes to their offense, especially at the quarterback position by drafting a rookie quarterback instead of keeping Justin Fields around.
It appears as if he is a bust, and there are people who want him benched for Division Two rookie Tyson Bagent in the meantime. What could general manager Ryan Poles do this season in the NFL Draft for the Chicago Bears?
Green Bay Packers Rival, the Chicago Bears, Could Potentially Land USC Trojans Quarterback Caleb Williams With the Top Overall Pick in the 2024 NFL Draft

There is no doubt that if the Bears land the number one pick this time around, there is no way that they are going to trade that selection. They are not going to potentially make the same mistake twice. Chicago would move off of quarterback Justin Fields and draft quarterback Caleb Williams from USC.
Some view him as the best quarterback prospect coming out of college in a few years. Williams would be a massive upgrade at the quarterback position currently for the Green Bay Packers rival and would have their guy for the next decade.
Drake Maye, North Carolina, Quarterback

Is there any chance Chicago would pass up on Caleb Williams and select quarterback Drake Maye from North Carolina? Maye is a great talent as well and will be a solid quarterback in the NFL, but Caleb Williams feels different. He will for sure be a Top 5 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft and could be the second overall selection this year as well.
However, would selecting Maye feel like a Mitchell Trubisky over Patrick Mahomes situation all over again for the franchise? That’s not saying Drake Maye isn’t going to be a good quarterback in the NFL. He is a way better prospect than Trubisky was coming out of college. The Chicago Bears always make interesting decisions in the NFL Draft, and general manager Ryan Poles would need to make that important decision.
Marvin Harrison Jr., Wide Receiver, Ohio State

The possibility that the Chicago Bears could land with Caleb Williams and Marvin Harrison Jr. in this year’s draft is solid. That would be such a home run quarterback-wide receiver combination for a decade that it would potentially make Green Bay Packers fans sick to their stomachs.
Harrison Jr. is the best wide receiver prospect in quite some time. He could be drafted as high as two potentially, and Calvin Johnson Jr. out of Georgia Tech was drafted that high in 2007 by the Detroit Lions. All Chicago Bears fans could dream about is a combination of Caleb Williams and Marvin Harrison Jr. Denver and Minnesota would probably draft quarterbacks with their selections and not him.
