The Green Bay Packers certainly have an off-season full of uncertainty ahead of them. There have been quite a few moves that have already taken place. Robert Tonyan, Allen Lazard, and Dean Lowry have all found new homes this off-season. Obviously, the biggest storyline of the off-season is Aaron Rodgers’ pending trade with the New York Jets. However, none of that changes the fact that a few of the Green Bay Packers rivals will be undergoing changes this off-season as well. That rang true for the Minnesota Vikings this week as they moved on from their three-time pro bowler Adam Thielen.
Minnesota Vikings Former Wide Receiver Signs With The Carolina Panthers

Nine days after the Vikings released him, Adam Thielen has agreed to terms with the Panthers. He announced the deal on Instagram just before the team did. Thielen visited Carolina last week. Thielen (32) has spent his entire NFL career playing for the Minnesota Vikings. Even though he is on the “wrong side of 30” he still put up a very productive 2022 NFL season. He finished with the 70 receptions, 716 yards, six touchdowns, and appeared in all 17 regular season games.
Thielen will join a Panthers wide receiving corps who looks to rebuild after they traded away DJ Moore (amongst other draft capital) to the Chicago Bears for the number one overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. The Minnesota Vikings, on the other hand, will be looking for a true number two wide receiver behind Justin Jefferson.
The Green Bay Packers certainly won’t miss seeing #19 in purple going forward.
