It has been pretty obvious that Green Bay Packers fans are excited about the future. Jordan Love has come in and put on some pretty impressive performances so far in the pre-season. In five drives against the Cincinnati Bengals and New England Patriots, he has recorded 130 passing yards, 2 touchdowns, and 0 interceptions. He completed 12 of his 18 passing attempts and has a quarterback rating of 124.1.
That being said, after 18 years in Green Bay, fans will still be paying close attention to Aaron Rodgers in 2023. The New York Jets believe they are squarely in their Super Bowl window after trading for Rodgers, adding many former Packers players, and signing running back Dalvin Cook. That being said, some recent news really rubbed Packers fans the wrong way.
Aaron Rodgers Set To Play In New York Jets’ Pre-Season Finale (Report)
Quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who hasn’t played in the preseason since 2018, will make his New York Jets debut Saturday against the New York Giants in the preseason finale, ESPN confirmed.
Rodgers, 39, has participated in every training camp practice, but he watched from the sideline as backup Zach Wilson started the first three games. The four-time MVP will get a quick tuneup before the Jets face the Buffalo Bills in the Sept. 11 season opener on “Monday Night Football.”
With the Packers, Rodgers played in the preseason for the first 14 years of his career. His last appearance was a 2018 cameo in Week 2 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played five snaps, completing 2 of 4 passes for 35 yards and a touchdown. From 2019 to 2022, he didn’t play in the preseason at all. The news that he would once again participate in the pre-season definitely rubbed some Packers fans the wrong way.

Rodgers didn’t feel the need to suit up for the Packers in the pre-season over the last four years of his career. When news surfaced that he would be doing just that for the Jets, fans took to social media to share their opinions:
