The Green Bay Packers and Aaron Rodgers currently have an unknown future. Unless you haven’t been paying attention at all, you’d know by now that the New York Jets are trying furiously to trade for the four-time MVP quarterback. The Green Bay Packers seem to be willing to honor any trade request that Aaron Rodgers sets forth. The Green Bay Packers nor the public have heard much from Aaron Rodgers during this whole saga, but Rodgers did make his first public social media post since early February. Green Bay Packers fans had a field day with it on Twitter.
Green Bay Packers Fans React To Aaron Rodgers Twitter Post
While it wasn’t much, Aaron Rodgers posted to his Twitter account today for the first time since February 7th:

Just one word “SULLLLL” with a few laughing emojis. This was certainly in response to Green Bay Packers cornerback Rasul Douglas and his antics on Twitter all day today. It all started when Gary Ellerson, a respected sports personality for ESPN Wisconsin, took to Twitter to point out what he believed to be an interesting aspect of the Aaron Rodgers situation.
Just thinking bout all these Jets players asking 12 to come join them in New York on social media. Why aren’t 12 teammates asking him to stay here?
Rasul quickly responded:

As you can tell, Green Bay Packers fans want an answer sooner rather than later from star QB Aaron Rodgers. It was March 8th, 2022 when Aaron Rodgers signed his massive three-year $150 million extension with the Packers. We are now well past that date in 2023 and the “legal tampering” period has begun. However, it will be difficult for the New York Jets or Green Bay Packers to make many moves until they know the future of Aaron Rodgers. This is due to his massive cap hit in 2023.
It was officially reported on Monday by Trey Wingo that a deal was “done” between the Jets and Packers for Aaron Rodgers. However, that was later disputed by Ian Rapoport. As we sit today, neither the Green Bay Packers and New York Jets genuinely don’t know what Aaron Rodgers next move is.
