There are few Green Bay Packers players more beloved among the fanbase than Randall Cobb. An unrestricted free agent, Cobb’s future with the team is uncertain, but it has truly been a pleasure to have seen him find his way back to the Packers after the team released him in 2019. Over the course of his career, Cobb has amassed 625 receptions for 7,585 yards and 53 touchdowns. Of course, most of these have come as a member of the Packers, who drafted him out of Kentucky in the 2011 NFL Draft.
Randall Cobb Was Not Named the Best Kentucky Player of the 21st Century
There is really no debate that Cobb is one of the greatest football players ever to come out of the University of Kentucky. As it turns out, many fans believe he is THE greatest former Kentucky player of the 21st Century. In a recent Twitter post, notable college football analyst page Big Game Boomer posted a graphic listing the best college football players from major programs in the 21st Century. Darrian Kinnard was listed as the greatest Kentucky player, and NFL fans, both Packers and non-Packers, were not having it.

Fans React to the Randall Cobb Disrespect
Fans were not shy about what they thought of the graphic and the exclusion of Cobb as the greatest Kentucky player:
“I LOVE DK and he was outstanding at Kentucky. But there is absolutely no way you can put him over the likes of Randall Cobb, Lynn Bowden, Benny Snell, Josh Allen”

“I would argue that Randall Cobb is the answer for Kentucky. But I can agree that it’s not Kinnard. Half the time BGB just throws out terrible opinions, just for the reactions.”

“Feels like Lynn Bowden, Benny Snell, or Randall Cobb would be a better answer here than Kinnard even though he was great”

One has to assume that Big Game Boomer was not entirely serious when he made this list. If one looks closely at the graphic, one would see that he listed Mason Crosby as the greatest player at Colorado in the 21st Century. Over David Bakhtiari? Really?
