The Green Bay Packers trounced the Chicago Bears 38-20 in their season opener.  However, the win came with a few bumps and bruises as there were multiple key players who left the game with injuries.  Aaron Jones and Quay Walker were the two big names to leave the game and not return.  They got one back at practice today.

According to Matt Schneidman of The Athletic:

Quay Walker back at practice. Hasn’t officially cleared concussion protocol, but he’s progressing through it.

Walker’s pick-6 of Justin Fields in the fourth quarter essentially sealed the Packers’ victory on Sunday. In the process, Walker was hit in the head by Bears rookie right tackle Darnell Wright near the goal line. Walker left the game as the Packers evaluated him for a concussion.

Nevertheless, this is a very good step in the right direction and a sign he might be available Sunday against the Falcons. His presence especially important with the numerous athletic playmaker on Atlanta’s offense.

As a rookie for the Packers, Walker recorded 121 total tackles, 1.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, and seven pass deflections.

Walker recorded 4 total tackles, 1 tackle for loss, 1 pass deflection, and the aforementioned pick-6 on Sunday Vs. Chicago.
