The Green Bay Packers seem to be in the market for a few more weapons on offense. As the team looks to transition from Aaron Rodgers to Jordan Love, adding a few more targets for Love would make a lot of sense. Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, and even Aaron Jones area all viable and consistent threats in the passing game. However, bringing in a veteran wide receiver could do wonders for the fourth-year quarterback. As it would turn out, there is a seven-time pro bowler who could provide that veteran presence.
WR Julio Jones Is Available And Extremely Affordable

Yes, I know, Julio Jones is well past his prime. I think that has been established over the last few years over and over again. However, at this point, the signing could prove to be a very low risk, high reward type of outcome. Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur spoke to his team’s need to add more players to the receiver room, particularly accomplished ones, at the Annual NFL Owners’ Meeting last week in Phoenix, Arizona.
“We’re going to have to add some bodies to that room. What do we got, like five guys on the roster right now?” LaFleur said. “I think some veteran leadership would be nice.”
ESPN’s Bill Barnwell suggested last year that the Packers should make a run at Julio Jones. That could happen one year later. Julio Jones caught just 24 passes for 299 yards and two scores for the Buccaneers last season, per Pro Football Reference. He was, however, limited to just 10 games played due to injury. A full season could have seen him catch around 40 balls for more than 500 yards and four touchdowns. May not be anything to write home about, but still a better year than Randall Cobb produced in 2022. Coincidentally, that would have also rivaled many of Allen Lazard’s best seasons in Green Bay, statistically speaking (of course you can’t replace his blocking).

Pretty sure he refuses to play for a cold weather franchise
This would be great news if it were 2018 again. The 2020’s version of Jones sucks.
