This is part of a two-article series on what the Green Bay Packers could look like in 2023. With a crazy offseason so far, even before the draft has started, here are predictions for the offensive positions.
Quarterback/Running Back

Quarterback and Running Back are the two most comfortable positions to predict for 2023. With Aaron Rodgers getting traded (allegedly) to the New York Jets, Jordan Love will be the starting QB in Green Bay. At running back, we will continue to see the damage AJ Dillion and Aaron Jones will do for another year.
Wide Receiver/Tight End

Wide Receiver and Tight End will be two young positions on this offense this year. Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, Jeff Cotton, Bo Melton, and Samori Toure are the only Wide Receivers returning this year. At Tight End, Austin Allen, Tyler Davis, Nick Guggemos, and Josiah Deguara are currently on the roster. These two positions are significant needs for the Packers. You could see the Packers take both WR and TE in the first round of this year’s NFL Draft. Predictions see them pick WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba from Ohio State in the first round and TE Luke Musgrave from Oregon State in the second round. Unfortunately, these are all predictions and not reality (yet).
O-Line

At the offensive line position, most of the starters will remain the same in 2023. We will still see David Bakhtiari, Elgton Jenkins, Josh Meyers, Royce Newman, Yosh Nijman, and Zach Tom all in the mix to be starters. For depth, the Packers also have Caleb Jones, Sean Rhyan, Luke Tenuta, and Jon Runyan. During the NFL Draft, fans could also see the Packers use an earlier pick on a Tackle. One could also see the Packers waiting until the third-fifth round- where they have had the best luck picking starting caliber O-Lineman in years past.
This is a “way too early” potential Packers team for 2023. However, with this crazy offseason so far, it’s fun for Packers fans to think about what the team could look like next year.
