The Green Bay Packers finished with a 9-8 record last season. They were second in the NFC North right behind the Detroit Lions. It has been a few years since Green Bay won the NFC North title. In 2022, the Minnesota Vikings won the division.
This season, the division will be very competitive. The Chicago Bears are also expected to make a leap. Many analysts are predicting either the Bears, the Packers, or the Lions to win the NFC North this season. The Vikings appear to be the forgotten team.
There are cases for those three teams to win the division this season. The Green Bay Packers were a wild-card team in the NFC last season.
Bleacher Report Maurice Moton Predicts Green Bay Packers Record For the 2024 Season
Bleacher Report’s Maurice Morton predicts that the Packers will finish with an 11-6 record this season in the NFC North. He believes that Green Bay will finish in second place in the division. Morton said:
“The Packers will be one of the league’s most intriguing teams because they have a budding offense led by Jordan Love and multiple receivers 25 years old or younger who can lead the team in catches and receiving yards in any given week. New defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley may be able to elevate an underachieving unit that features multiple recent first-rounders at every level. Green Bay continues to trend in the right direction as a team on the rise.”
It is not a surprise that he predicted the Detroit Lions to win the division with a 12-5 record. He thinks that the Chicago Bears will finish with a 10-7 record. As for the Minnesota Vikings, he has them finishing with a 7-10 record.
Moton thinks that the Green Bay Packers will be the fifth seed in the NFC and face the NFC South winner, the Atlanta Falcons in the playoffs this season. It would not be a surprise if that were to happen. However, if Jordan Love takes his game to another level, they could be on top of the NFC North once again.
