On Tuesday, the First Things First Crew gave out their predictions including analyst Nick Wright and he was talking positively about the Green Bay Packers. When going through his NFC North Predictions for the season, he had the Chicago Bears fourth, the Minnesota Vikings third, and the Detroit Lions second and a playoff team.
Nick Wright thinks that the Green Bay Packers will win the NFC North this season and get back to the playoffs this season even though Jordan Love is in and Aaron Rodgers is out. The reasoning he gave why the Packers will make it this season was:
“Best Vibes in the league, the Green Bay Packers. Good young talent at wide receiver, good running game, an underrated defense, a chip on their shoulder.”
Nick Wright also mentioned how good of a head coach Matt LaFleur has been and also has praised his win percentage. He also said when describing the Packers, especially about Jordan Love and the quarterback position:
“And a quarterback who has got to sit and learn for years. Will he be great? No. Will he be as good as Aaron was last year? That’s not that hard.”

Green Bay Packers Finally Get Some Respect From the National Media Heading Into This Season
Wm. Glasheen USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin
There have been times this offseason when the Packers have been disrespected by the national media because they were transitioning from Aaron Rodgers to Jordan Love at the quarterback position. They were 8-9 and finished in third place in the NFC North a season ago.
Even with Jordan Love leading the way this year, it feels like they can get back to the playoffs. They have the roster and young talent to do it. Will they? The Packers have to answer that for themselves and hope to prove Nick Wright.
