Former Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is one of the best quarterbacks to ever play in the NFL. With four MVP Awards and a Super Bowl under his belt, he is a lock to be inducted into the Hall of Fame as soon as he becomes eligible. Indeed, Rodgers has left an undeniable mark on the franchise by raising the bar of quarterback play.
That being said, the way things ended between Rodgers and the Packers was less than ideal. He was truly upset when they decided to trade up and select Jordan Love in the 2020 NFL Draft. While he never let his disappointment of the pick affect his relationship with Love (he was an incredible teammate and mentor), he did allow it to affect his relationship with general manager Brian Gutekunst and the front office.

Following the drafting of Love, Rodgers started to do regular podcast appearances on the Pat McAfee Show. During these interviews, fans were treated to his extensive football knowledge and were blown away by his understanding of the game. However, they were also exposed to his differing views on many topics in society.
Of course, his comments regarding the COVID-19 vaccine and how he was “immunized” were the first of his many controversial statements. In the few years that have followed, fans have learned more and more about his non-mainstream opinions and his believing in multiple conspiracy theories.
After he was traded to the New York Jets, Rodgers tore his Achilles in Week One of the 2023 season and was out for the year. His weekly appearances, however, continued to take place.
Aaron Rodgers Almost Ventured into Politics

This past offseason, it was reported that Rodgers was in consideration to be Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s running mate for the Presidential election in November.
“I said, ‘Are you serious? I’m a (expletive) football player,'” Rodgers told Tucker Carlson when the two discussed the topic on Carlson’s podcast. Of course, Rodgers was not selected as Kennedy’s running mate as it would have required him to retire from the NFL.
Over the years, and especially in the last few months, Rodgers has made it known that he has no love for either Donald Trump or Joe Biden. On Carlson’s show, he said he wished President Biden could talk about American history like Vladimir Putin (whom he called very intelligent and interesting) talked about Russian history. Rodgers also accused former President Trump of not draining the political swamp because he was too afraid to do so.

Both Rodgers and Trump were in attendance at UFC 302 on Saturday night. A video circulated around social media of the four-time MVP (along with Marcedes Lewis) refusing to stand up for or shake the hand of the former President, who was just convicted of 34 felonies in New York.
