Green Bay Packers’ Week 3 Duel vs. Minnesota Has Bookies Questioning Packers’ Strength

The Green Bay Packers have started the season right with an impressive 2-1 record despite losing Jordan Love to injury during the first game of the season. While they would much prefer to have their starting QB back under center, the Packers are doing well with what they’ve got.

The terrific partnership between Malik Willis and Matt LaFleur is a key reason behind the team’s success. The former Liberty standout had plenty of question marks during his two-week stint with the Tennessee Titans, but he’s shown that he’s a capable QB who can hold down the fort while waiting for Love to return.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Malik Willis (2) is pulled down by Tennessee Titans linebacker Harold Landry III (58) during the first quarter at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tenn., Sunday, Sept. 22, 2024.

However, it’s also clear that Week 4 is going to be toughest test they’ll be facing this season. Their NFC North rivals have been terrific on defense, and Sam Darnold is doing a fantastic job as the team’s QB1.

With both teams entering Week 4 in such circumstances, some bookies are finding it hard to assess which of these teams would be able to walk away with the win.

Pre-game odds find it difficult to identify the winning team in the Green Bay Packers-Minnesota Vikings match

Odds for the league’s Week 4 games have been recently released, and the odds for the upcoming duel between the Packers and the Vikings show that the game is going to be closer than what some fans may think:

    NFL – Week 4

    Dal -4.5 at NYG

    Atl Pick vs NO
    Pit -1 at Ind
    Hou -4 vs Jax
    GB -2.5 vs Min
    Cin -6 at Car
    Chi -2.5 vs LAR
    NYJ -7.5 vs Den
    Phi -1.5 at TB
    Ari -6 vs Wsh
    SF -10.5 vs NE
    Cle -1.5 at LV
    KC -9.5 at LAC
    Bal -2.5 vs Buf

    Mia Pick vs Ten
    Det -4.5 vs Sea

If Love was under center, it would become a lot easier for the team to win this game against their staunch rivals. Fans will be hoping that their team would be able to make up for the difference, but it will be up to the squad to trust in what they’re doing if their starting QB won’t be back in action by game day.
