The Green Bay Packers suffered a terrible 34-26 loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday afternoon. After leading 16-13 at halftime, Green Bay’s offense just could not muster any sustained drives. Right tackle Zach Tom and wide receiver Christian Watson also had to leave the game early due to injuries, which did little to help the offense’s performance.
But the biggest loss, even greater than losing the game itself, was the Packers losing defensive end Micah Parsons for the rest of the season due to a torn ACL.
Parsons, who led all NFC defensive ends during the fan voting phase for the Pro Bowl, ends his first season in Green Bay with 12.5 sacks and 41 total tackles.

Obviously, losing Parsons is a huge detriment to Green Bay’s Super Bowl hopes. When the injury was announced, too, many worried that it would carry over into next season and cause the team to get off to a slow start defensively.
Parsons, however, does not seem to think he will miss much, if any, time in 2026:

As one can see, Parsons predicts that he will return to the field in September, which is the month in which the NFL regular season begins.
Due to the timeline of ACL recoveries, this would likely mean that he would miss a substantial portion, or all of, training camp.
Parsons, though, does not want anyone to doubt that he will be able to return. Prior to posting about his possible September return, he posted the following message:
“I may be sidelined, but I am not defeated. This injury is my greatest test—a moment God allowed to strengthen my testimony. I believe He walks with me through this storm and chose me for this fight because He knew my heart could carry it. I’m deeply grateful to the Packers organization and my teammates for their unwavering support, love, and belief in me during this season. I trust His timing, His plan, and His purpose. I will rise again.”
