The Green Bay Packers are 10-4 this season in the NFL and a lot of it has to do with the coaching of Matt LaFleur. In any other season, Green Bay would most likely be winning the NFC North crown, but the Detroit Lions and the Minnesota Vikings have a 12-2 record this season.
For now, the Packers are the sixth seed in the NFC and would face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the first round of the NFL playoffs. Green Bay also had to go on the road last postseason.
Former Seattle Seahawks Quarterback Matt Hasselback Praises the Green Bay Packers and Matt LaFleur After Latest Win Against Seattle
On Monday on the Herd with Colin Cowherd on FS1, former Seattle Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselback went onto the show. One of the things that Hasselbeck mentioned is that the Packers should not be slept on when the postseason begins.
“Matt LaFleur does not get enough credit for what he is as a football coach… They’ve been the unsung team this season.”
When Jordan Love was injured after the Week 1 game against the Philadelphia Eagles, many people thought they were in trouble, but Malik Willis helped the Packers win a couple of games. Willis looking good was important to LaFleur in figuring out his strengths and weaknesses. Green Bay also turned into a power-running team with Josh Jacobs.

This almost the same team as last year. They played 2 playoff games. They know what the playoffs are about.

It’s the Packers year. As a Niners fan I hate to say it

The NFC is loaded this season. The Green Bay Packers are very young and may not win the NFC, but there is no question that they are a contender to get to the Super Bowl. Also, the Minnesota Vikings, the Detroit Lions, and the Philadelphia Eagles have double-digit win marks in the NFC Conference.
Two teams that can’t be slept on are the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Los Angeles Rams. The Washington Commanders feel like an afterthought in the NFC even though they will most likely make the playoffs. The only thing that the Green Bay Packers can do is worry about themselves and not the outside noise.
