Green Bay Packers general manager, head coach Matt LaFleur, and the rest of front office have been getting rave reviews for their NFL draft activities over the weekend.

They are returning the praise to their colleagues who organized this year’s hosting of the NFL draft.
Green Bay was this year’s host of the three-day draft proper, the first time Wisconsin hosted it since 1940.
Both top official of the team thought the organizers did a great job.
“The traffic quite as wasn’t as bad I expected it to be,” Gutekunst said.
“It was different, but I will say this: There were no distractions or interruptions or things that I might’ve been concerned with. It was really, really smooth.”

He even admitted that he wasn’t too approving of other intermissions saying he thought they might be a nuisance.
“What an atmosphere, having the draft here. There were so many cool things that happened that quite frankly I didn’t expect. I thought it might just be a nuisance. But it was such a cool environment, such a cool thing.”
Green Bay Packers pulled in 600,000
Organizers expected just around 250,000 attendees in the Lambeau Field for three-day event. However, it more than surpassed the project as official tally said around 600,000 fans flocked to the arena.
LaFleur thinks it is the biggest draft event ever.
“I can’t imagine any NFL draft being better than the one we hosted here. What a great experience,” LaFleur said.

“From where we’re located on the second floor in our football building, to look out and just see the number of people … was unbelievable.”
