After suffering a 34-31 heartbreaker of a loss to the Detroit Lions in Week 14, the Green Bay Packers immediately bounced back, as Jordan Love and company demolished the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday at Lumen Field in Seattle.
The Packers dominated in almost every facet of the contest for an overall performance that earned the Matt LaFleur-led Green Bay coaching staff a classy recognition from Seattle head coach Mike Macdonald.
“Give Green Bay a lot of credit. i thought they out-coached us,” Macdonald said after the game, per Curtis Crabtree of FOX 13 Seattle.
“We didn’t have a good enough plan in all three phases. I’m responsible for that and then, frankly, we didn’t play good enough.”
The Green Bay Packers dominate the Seattle Seahawks for 10th win of the 2024 NFL season
The Packers came right out of the gate in the Seattle game like a house on fire; Green Bay smoked the Seahawks for 10 unanswered points in the first quarter and led by 17 points at the half. Seattle showed a little more life in the second half but never came close to even threatening Green Bay which was in control from start to finish of the contest.
The Packers had 369 total yards from scrimmage and held Seattle to only 208. Green Bay’s defense stepped up, with two interceptions while holding Seattle to only 14 first downs.
On offense, Jordan Love passed for 229 passing yards and two touchdowns — both caught by Romeo Doubs — and zero interceptions.
Green Bay is now 10-4 and will look to win its 11th of the season when the Packers host the New Orleans Saints at Lambeau Field in Week 16.
