Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur expressed his appreciation to the team’s fans who came to support them last Sunday. According to the 45-year-old tactician, their presence was a huge reason they won 30-13 over the Seattle Seahawks.
“This is a tough place to play, it’s extremely loud, and I was shocked when our defense was on the field and I could hear our Packer fans. I definitely think that made a difference for us,” LaFleur said via Associated Press.
The Green Bay Packers made their first trip to Seattle since 2018. This was a huge result for them since they haven’t won in Lumen Field since 2008 and because they are one step closer to officially clinching their playoff berth.
Green Bay was buoyed by their solid defense, effective run game, and a sharp performance from Jordan Love and his weapons. The game got so ugly for the hosts that “Go Pack Go” chants were heard in Lumen Field throughout the night.
“That’s something I don’t anybody on this team will ever forget,” Jordan Love said via Ryan Wood of USA Today.
Green Bay Packers look ahead to Week 16 matchup vs. New Orleans Saints
The Green Bay Packers can tack on their record with a winnable game against the New Orleans Saints next Sunday. Despite the absence of Derek Carr, Green Bay cannot afford to be complacent against a team with nothing to lose.
The New Orleans Saints are fresh from a 20-19 loss against the Washington Commanders after a failed two-point attempt by Spencer Rattler following a last-ditch touchdown.
Green Bay must watch out for New Orleans’ defense, who recently set a season-high in sacks against Washington, with eight against the elusive Jayden Daniels.
