The Green Bay Packers have had a multitude of decisions to make this off-season. The most famous one is deciding to trade Aaron Rodgers. While it hasn’t happened yet, both sides have made it clear they are interested in getting the trade done. Another key decision that the Green Bay Packers have to make will be regarding Jordan Love and his fifth-year option.
Green Bay Packers Anticipated To Exercise Fifth-Year Option On Jordan Love

According to Brad Spielberger of Pro Football Focus:
This is a weird one to predict, as one would imagine if the Green Bay Packers are comfortable trading Aaron Rodgers to the New York Jets, they’re also very comfortable with Love being their starter going forward. A $20.272 million fully guaranteed fifth-year option is not a huge expenditure to put on your future books for a franchise quarterback, but it could be a bit scary given his lack of NFL reps.
Additionally, Green Bay picked up the fully guaranteed $7.9 million fifth-year option on safety Darnell Savage last offseason and is now regretting that heading into 2023 after he was benched for stretches of the 2022 campaign.
If the Green Bay Packers end up exercising Love’s fifth-year option, it will keep the 24-year-old quarterback under contract through the 2024 season. At that point in time the Packers would have to make a major decision if they wanted to pay him a true QB salary likely north of 30-35 million per year. Possibly even more given the quarterback market in two years.

I have been a true green bay packer fan no matter what the odds are or what they favor. Despite packers had rough season 2022, I’m sure they can still bounce back in a HUGE WAY by entrusting Jordan Love to start those games more often in order to have extended playing minutes on the field. Most back up qbs who get taught n groomed to be the next starting QB become very good. For instance, Favre used to be starting QB until Rodgers was given the opportunity to be that foot hold starter for more then ten seasons. Like some underrated qbs who show signs of passing the ball better down the field with confidence, starting winning games. It just takes time n see where they will be fairing up at that level where they need to be the best. Im sure that Rodgers wanting to play for the jets wants to see Jordan Love how he will do if the jets n the packers play against each other. Something that must be seen between a former starting QB n the new starting QB of gb packers
