The Green Bay Packers are getting prepared to face the Chicago Bears on Sunday on the road. Green Bay has won 10 straight against Chicago. The Packers are 6-3 this season and the Bears are 4-5.
One of the biggest stories for Green Bay during the bye week is running back Marshawn Lloyd potentially returning to game action soon. He has been on injured reserve for most of the season and has not played since Week 2 against the Indianapolis Colts.
Green Bay Packers Running Back Marshawn Lloyd Not At Practice On Friday
Lloyd was practicing with the team earlier in the week. However, according to Matt Schneidman of The Athletic, the rookie running back was not at practice on Friday. It will be interesting to see if he can still play against Chicago this weekend or if Green Bay will have to wait to get him off of injured reserve.
If he can’t play this weekend, then they will have to wait until next week to get him off of injured reserve. Another player who was not at practice on Friday was offensive lineman Jordan Morgan because of injury.

Lloyd was a third-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft from USC. It will be intriguing to hear from head coach Matt LaFleur after practice about the availability of the rookie running back for either this weekend or for weeks to come also.
