The Green Bay Packers will have many rookies who are in line to either start or contribute this season. Last year, many rookies made a name for themselves and are looking to grow in their second NFL season. Dontayvion Wicks, Jayden Reed, Luke Musgrave, and Tucker Kraft were some of the rookies who performed well last season.
All four of those players will have a role on the Green Bay Packers this season assuming they don’t get injured. With training camp here, many rookies are ready to make a name for themselves. Some of the rookies to watch for on this roster during camp will be offensive lineman Jordan Morgan, linebacker Edgerrin Cooper, safety Javon Bullard, and running back Marshawn Lloyd.

Some other rookies could also make a name for themselves during camp and make the 53-man roster. Will an undrafted rookie make the roster for the 20th consecutive season? It remains to be seen what happens on that front.
Green Bay Packers Rookie Running Back Marshawn Lloyd Listed As Honorable Mention For CBS Sports All-Rookie Preseason Team

CBS Sports writer Chris Trapasso made an all-rookie preseason team for first team, second team, and honorable mention. For the running back position, Trapasson had Green Bay Packers running back Marshawn Lloyd on the honorable mention team.
Arizona Cardinals rookie running back Trey Benson made the first-team for CBS Sports and Jonathan Brooks of the Carolina Panthers made it to the second-team. Trapasso said about the Packers rookie running back:
“And don’t sleep on Lloyd for a few reasons — firstly, Matt LaFleur is a Kyle Shanahan coaching tree descendent, and we know how well it schemes running-back efficiency. Secondly, Lloyd is an impossibly thick and fast runner with subtle juking skill in tight quarters.”
For now, Marshawn Lloyd is listed third on the Green Bay Packers depth chart. The Packers have big plans for him during his rookie season. Green Bay offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich can not wait to use him. Josh Jacobs for now will be the starting running back and A.J. Dillon will be the second running back on the depth chart.
In 11 games last season with the USC Trojans, Marshawn Lloyd rushed for 820 yards on 116 carries and nine touchdowns, along with averaging 7.1 yards per carry. Lloyd also caught 13 passes for 232 yards receiving and zero touchdowns, along with averaging 17.8 yards per catch.

Marshawn Lloyd won’t be drafted in fantasy leagues, but he could very well be a hot waiver wire pick-up for the Green Bay Packers later this NFL season. The rookie running back class this year is not very strong. Lloyd has a chance to help contribute to the Packers during his rookie season also.
