The Green Bay Packers survived playing without Jordan Love and having Malik Willis as their starter on Sunday, as they defeated the Indianapolis Colts at Lambeau Field to the tune of a 16-10 score. Love is still nursing a knee injury and even though he has not landed on the injured list, it seems likely that he’s going to need at least another week recuperating.
Green Bay Packers quarterback Malik Willis opens up about playing former team in Week 3
As for Willis, that spells out as an opportunity to have some kind of revenge game against the Tennessee Titans, who will be hosting the Packers in Week 3 at Nissan Stadium – a place that Willis is very familiar with.
“ I don’t know,” Willi said when asked during the postgame press conference about potentially starting against his former team in Week 3.
“I mean, normal. I just try to prepare as a starter each week. That’s my job, you know, and I just try to not focus on who we’re playing more than the game plan and what we’re trying to do, what we’re trying to accomplish, and let’s get another W.”

Willis spent his first two seasons in the NFL with the Titans, who took him in the third round of the 2022 NFL draft as the 86th overall pick. He only appeared in 11 games, including just three starts, with the Titans, passing for 350 yards, zero touchdowns, and four interceptions.
