The Green Bay Packers selected Lukas Van Ness in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft. The team added yet another defensive player in the first round and Van Ness is looking to make an impact right away. For many players, music is a way to get in the zone and hyped for a game. Van Ness is no different but his hype music choice is maybe not what you would think it is. In a recent interview with Packers Digital, Van Ness revealed what song gets him hyped.

In order to get hyped for a game, Van Ness likes to listen to “Rolling in the Deep” by Adele. If you gave me one hundred guesses, I would not have come up with that answer. The rookie seems to be having fun in Green Bay as these are the types of nuggets that players give when they feel excited and comfortable on a team. There is lots of young talent on this roster and this could be a really fun team to cheer for.

High Expectations For The Defense
Van Ness joins a unit that has some high expectations. This group has a massive amount of first-round talent on the roster. Joe Barry was retained but now has to prove that he can create a dominant defense with the players on the roster. Van Ness brings versatility to the defense. He can play on the outside but can also slide inside which will give the Packers some flexibility depending on injury status and situation.
The Green Bay Packers go into the season with a lot of unknowns. However, Lukas Van Ness is just one of the many exciting pieces this team has. As the offseason goes on, it will be fun to watch this team grow.
