The Green Bay Packers and the Los Angeles Rams will face each other in Week 5. Green Bay and Los Angeles both have players injured at key positions. The Packers are 2-2 on the season and the Rams are 1-3 on the season.
If Green Bay wants to make the playoffs this season, they have to win this weekend against Los Angeles. The Rams season has not gone as planned.
Los Angeles Rams Head Coach Sean McVay Rules Out Wide Receiver Cooper Kupp Against the Green Bay Packers
Cooper Kupp has not played since Week 2 against the Arizona Cardinals. Head coach Sean McVay ruled out the star wide receiver entering the Week 5 matchup against the Green Bay Packers. It makes sense to have Kupp sidelined because the Rams will be on a bye week after the Packers game.
Kupp so far this season has caught 18 passes for 147 yards receiving and one touchdown, along with averaging 8.2 yards per catch. His presence has been missed in the Los Angeles Rams offense this season.
Christian Watson Could Be Also Out For the Packers
Another player who could be out in the Rams and the Packers game this weekend is Packers wide receiver Christian Watson. Watson was carted off the field in the first half and he did not return to the game against the Minnesota Vikings.
He avoided an ankle fracture, but a high-ankle sprain could have Watson land on injured reserve. He had bad injury luck last season for the Packers dealing with hamstring issues. Los Angeles and Green Bay are both banged up.
