The Green Bay Packers are entering a new era both on and off the field. The pending Aaron Rodgers trade signals the first time in 31 years that Brett Favre or Aaron Rodgers won’t be the starter for week one at Lambeau Field. Jordan Love will officially take the keys of the franchise and, hopefully, start something special. However, there are changes happening at Lambeau Field itself that have fans excited for the 2023 season and beyond.
Green Bay Packers Announce Massive Addition To Lambeau Field
Lambeau Field, the historic home of the Green Bay Packers, is undergoing a few significant changes this offseason. The most notable change is the building of two bigger 4K video boards.
“When they walk into the stadium, they’re going to see two boards. One on the north end, one on the south end. They have grown from 110 feet by 48 feet to 228×48 feet,” said Mike Moynihan, director of facility operations for the Packers.
This will certainly improve the fan experience at Lambeau Field. The video boards are growing from 110 feet by 48 feet to 220 feet by 48 feet. Each video board will also have a higher resolution. In fact, the video boards will have the best resolution in professional football. Lambeau Field may be the most historic stadium in the NFL, but it will look much newer during the 2023 season. Here is a look at the video boards:
