The Green Bay Packers are 9-3-1 with four games remaining in the 2025 NFL regular season. They currently are in first place in the NFC North and hold the second seed in the NFC. However, their upcoming stretch of games, especially the next three, will not be easy.
Three of their last four games are going to played on the road, including each of the next two. The first of these will be against the Denver Broncos, a team Green Bay has not defeated on the road since 2007. What is more, the Broncos are 11-2, have won 10 games in a row, and currently are the top seed in the AFC.
Obviously, this will not be an easy game for the Packers to win, and their initial injury report indicates that one of their best players is not 100% leading up to the contest.
Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs did not practice on Wednesday

The Packers released their initial injury report for the game against the Broncos this weekend and, as usual, it is quite long.
The good news, though, is that defensive end Lukas Van Ness, who has been battling a foot injury, returned to practice on Wednesday. The bad news, however, is that Pro Bowl running back Josh Jacobs did not practice at all, even in a limited fashion.
It’s the knee that kept Josh Jacobs out of today’s practice. My guess is it’s just maintenance from his injury against the Giants and he’ll be back at practice tomorrow. pic.twitter.com/XHsl5MV5eu

As Matt Schneidman of The Athletic notes above, this is likely in relation to the knee injury that Jacobs suffered against the New York Giants two weeks ago. In that game, he was knocked out early from the contest with a knee contusion.
Jacobs was able to play last week against the Chicago Bears, and had one of his best games of the season. He ran the ball 20 times for 86 yards and a touchdown. Additionally, Jacobs had two receptions for six yards.
On the season, the three-time Pro Bowler has 817 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns.
