The Green Bay Packers secured their third consecutive victory after defeating the Miami Dolphins 30-17 on Thanksgiving night.
The cold weather might have helped the Green Bay Packers since Miami Dolphins’ Tua Tagovailoa remains winless in games below 50 degrees, although the one-time Pro Bowler recorded 365 passing yards and two touchdowns.
After the superb home win, Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs doubled down on Miami Dolphins’ inability to win in cold games with Tagovailoa as the starting quarterback.
“Man, them guys looked like they was cold out there,” Green Bay running back Josh Jacobs said, “so we was ready to get to it.”
“It actually wasn’t that bad. It was kind of cold after halftime. I think that’s because you’re kind of wet and going back out there. But it wasn’t as bad as I thought,” he concluded.
“I think it affected their whole team,” Packers safety Xavier McKinney added about the weather. “Obviously, they’re coming from Miami. It’s hot there, and then they come here and play in that cold weather, you get affected by it, so I think it affected everybody.”
