Romeo Doubs was one of the top contributors to the Green Bay Packers’ dominant 30-13 victory against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 15 to improve to a 10-4 record. The 24-year-old wide receiver tallied three catches for 40 yards and two touchdowns.
With the Green Bay Packers up 7-0 in the first quarter, Romeo Doubs extended their lead to 14-0 by powering through Seattle Seahawks’ Tariq Woolen and Julian Love after catching a Jordan Love dime for his first score.
His second touchdown came in the fourth quarter when he took a low pass from Jordan Love in the end zone despite having Devon Witherspoon on his back to put the game beyond doubt.
Doubs’ two-score game was the third multi-touchdown game in his career. Overall, this was a solid comeback performance for him after he was sidelined with a concussion for the past few weeks. Romeo Doubs was given a 78.7 grade by the PFF, good for the second-best grade within the squad.
Green Bay Packers’ Jordan Love reacts to Romeo Doubs’ Week 15 performance
Jordan Love is happy to have Romeo Doubs back since he gives him another viable weapon on the offensive end. According to the Green Bay Packers quarterback, he was particularly impressed with Doubs’ first touchdown because of his relentlessness to get it over the line.
“That’s something I really haven’t seen out of Rome, just running guys over and putting the team on his back. That just shows how much he wants it,” Love said about Doubs via Ryan Wood of USA Today.
Love also did well against Seattle, as he went 20-for-27 on his passes for 229 passing yards and two touchdowns. The 26-year-old star also had four rushing yards in one carry.
