Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love is one of the most polarizing names in the NFL entering the 2024 season. Many people across the NFL seem jealous that Green Bay has always gotten the quarterback position right with him, Aaron Rodgers, and Brett Favre.

In the past, Rodgers and Favre were always ranked in the NFL’s Top 100 players. Aaron Rodgers was ranked in the NFL Top 100 for the 2023 season despite only playing four snaps for the New York Jets against the Buffalo Bills in Week 1. His season ended with a Torn Achilles.

The players usually vote for this stuff. After the Packers were 2-5, Jordan Love turned it out and figured it out in a hurry. He would get off to slow in games, but that would not be an issue for him toward the end of the season.

On Monday night, the NFL Twitter page revealed that Packers star quarterback was ranked 34th in the NFL Top 100 players for the 2023 NFL season. This came as a major surprise to many people and a lot of fans seemed surprised about how high he was ranked on this list.

A few noticeable quarterbacks who were ranked behind Love in the NFL Top 100 are Joe Burrow of the Cincinnati Bengals, Jared Goff of the Detroit Lions, Justin Herbert of the Los Angeles Chargers, and Tua Tagovailoa of the Miami Dolphins. NFL.com’s Bobby Kownack said about Love being ranked 34th in the NFL’s Top 100:

“It wasn’t pretty immediately, but the end result of Love’s first season as a starter suggests Green Bay has miraculously hit on a third straight franchise quarterback. From Week 11 through the Divisional Round, Love threw for 2,616 yards, 23 touchdowns and three interceptions, rallying the Packers to a postseason berth and delivering a shocking demolition of the Cowboys on Super Wild Card Weekend during that span.”

It seemed like the Dallas Cowboys game caught everyone’s attention about him. He was not ranked in the NFL Top 100 last season because he was the backup quarterback to Aaron Rodgers before he was traded to the New York Jets.

There were no doubt a lot of surprising reactions to his very high ranking. The fact that Packers quarterback Jordan Love is already in the Top 35 entering next year could be a good sign for him moving forward.
