Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love missed practice on Wednesday ahead of Sunday’s matchup against the Indianapolis Colts. The Packers were back on the practice field on Thursday.
Many are wondering whether or not Love could find a way to play on Sunday. The coaches left the door open for him to possibly play on Sunday against the Colts.
Green Bay Packers Quarterback Jordan Love Misses Practice For Second Straight Day
For the second consecutive day, Love is not on the practice field, according to The Athletic’s Matt Schneidman. This means that Malik Willis is inching closer to being the starting quarterback on Sunday against the Colts. Green Bay has yet to elevate quarterback Sean Clifford to the 53-man roster, but that move could be happening soon.
Malik Willis starting on Sunday potentially would be his first start of the season and he played in three games last season for the Tennessee Titans. Willis only threw five passes last season with the Titans and completed four of them. He will have to throw much more than that on Sunday.
Fans React
Green Bay Packers fans react to the possibility of not having Jordan Love on Sunday afternoon against the Indianapolis Colts. This is what some of them had to say on Twitter:
Josh Jacobs is gonna have a big day on the ground!

I don’t want him playing even if he’s healthy

Manifesting a Malik Willis legacy game.

There are some interesting reactions from the Packers fanbase to this news. It would not be a surprise to see running back Josh Jacobs get the football a ton in this game on the ground. This could also be a game where rookie running back Marshawn Lloyd also gets involved in the game plan.
The other running back who could also be involved is Emanuel Wilson. This could be a game where Malik Willis may not throw it more than 10 times with Jordan Love out. The Green Bay Packers will need to control the game at the line of scrimmage.
