The Green Bay Packers have a tradition of raising funds for the local Salvation Army, and Jordan Love will have his turn to contribute to the noble cause two weeks from now.
According to Richard Ryman of the Green Bay Press-Gazette, Love will sign autographs (for at least $100 each) for the Salvation Army Red Kettle campaign on December 16 at Lambeau Field. The signing event will start at 5:30 p.m. limited to the first 300 fans. Numbered tickets will be distributed to those who line up ahead of time.
Before Jordan Love, AJ Dillon, Bo Melton, Quay Walker, Evan Williams, Kenny Clark, Kingsley Enagbare, and Rasheed Walker participated in the autograph signing campaign.
All proceeds raised for the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle initiative go toward helping families in need, homeless people, and senior citizens in the Green Bay Area.
Jordan Love’s stats during the Green Bay Packers-Detroit Lions game
Jordan Love had a rough start against the Detroit Lions, as he only gained 31 passing yards in the first half. According to ESPN Stats & Info, this is the worst the Green Bay Packers quarterback has ever been in the first half of a game.
However, the Green Bay Packers turned things around in the second half before the narrow defeat. The 26-year-old quarterback finished the game with 206 passing yards on 12-for-20 passes, one touchdown, and an additional 23 rushing yards.
The Green Bay Packers’ recent loss is a big blow to their playoff hopes, but Love believes they can still make it if they continue to “stick together.”
