The Green Bay Packers and Jordan Love will be under the microscope of NFL analysts, opposing fan bases, and their own fan base this year. That is part of the territory when moving on from a four-time MVP and future Hall of Fame quarterback in Aaron Rodgers. This is why Brian Gutekunst and Matt LaFleur have tried to temper expectations by saying that everyone needs to be patient with Love. While this is reasonable, considering his top pass catchers are all rookies or second-year players, Colin Cowherd stated he was “not buying” patience for Love. The controversial podcaster has no decided to include Love in his typically negative content.
Colin Cowherd Has A Lot of Negative Thoughts on Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers

Cowherd went on a rant claiming that there is no way Love can be any good because they Packers have spent three years developing him. In Cowherd’s opinion, the only good starting quarterbacks in the NFL are the ones that can start on Day One:
“They gotta take the training wheels off of Jordan Love with the Packers. Cause if you look at the schedule folks, for the first five games, they face really bad defenses from last year. I’m not saying all these defenses will be bad but the Bears, the Falcons, the Lions, the Raiders certainly don’t play defense. So this entire landscape for Jordan Love is built for success.
“Three years of tutoring behind Aaron. Three years of the same system. Three years of the same coach. Good online, running game, and an early schedule that really benefits Jordan Love. This is a really workable schedule. By October 9th against the Raiders we’ll know if he can play. Don’t have to be 5-0, they don’t have to be 4-1, but I’ve got to be see some talent, composure, and it.”
I do believe every Packers fan will agree with that. After all, Rodgers and the 2008 Packers finished 6-10, but the offense showed great talent and was not the reason for the poor record.
“It’s year four. If Diana Ussini is finding out about that, she breaks a lot of stories, that’s all I need to know. Joe Burrow and Justin Herbert started early behind terrible offensive lines and both highly productive. The Bengals were a dysfunctional organization. The Chargers, although more talented, have always been dysfunctional.
“The Packers have no dysfunction, a good offensive line, two very good running backs…one a star, an emerging star wide receiver, they always give their quarterback support, and at least a decent defense. And a winning culture…If you’ve given your kids singing lessons for four years and she or he still sounds like they’re breaking glass, you don’t have Whitney Houston.
“By the way, Jordan love has taken 157 snaps. How many did it take you to figure out that Justin Herbert could play? About a dozen. How many did it take you to figure out that Joe Burrow could play? About 15. I can remember Justin Herbert in that game against Kansas City. I think it was the first or second drive. He threw a laser down the field and you were like yep check that box. We’re fine on quarterback.
“If you’re preaching patience and we’re in a year four with those running backs, that offensive coach, that offensive line, Christian Watson, and a very good draft I think they’re telling you all you need to know.
“It just doesn’t take that long and stop going to Josh Allen. Josh Allen was leaping over people! He was running past them, over them, through them. We all knew Josh Allen had a lot of talent and he had to come out and play early. It’s year four.
I said this before. Years and years ago I believed you had to give a quarterback 2 1/2 to 3 years. But now, with the seven and seven tournaments, the culture has changed for quarterbacks. They take 10,000 snaps by the time they are a sophomore in high school.
“So I believe for a quarterback, it’s Thanksgiving for year two. At that point you have a meeting with the owner and the GM and the coach. You made a decision. Guy can play. Guy can’t play. But with Jordan Love, he’s been sitting around for three years. I think you make the decision by Thanksgiving. I need eight starts.”
Has there ever been a content creator who emphasizes “I” as much as Colin Cowherd? “I need eight starts.” Why, Colin? Do you work for the team? The fact of the matter is that Cowherd doesn’t need any starts for him to already have his narrative planned. Jordan Love could set the world on fire with a record-breaking MVP season and Cowherd would find some way to turn a negative spin on it. That’s just what he does.

Defensive questions aside, I think the Packers will go as far as the tight ends can carry them. The schedule, at least on paper, sets them up for an 8-9 or 9-8 record, but they have play makers on offense and they have a solid O-line. They should be able to compete even with Love at quarterback.
Colin cowherd has a vendetta against Aaron Rodgers and the Packers because he is butt hurt cuz no one will go on his show no one will kiss his butt! He’s lazy and he uses Aaron Rodgers for a show because he doesn’t want to do the work….
So by his assessment Aaron Rodgers will never amount to anything becuase he sat for 3 years behind Brett Favre and didnt start Day 1. Ignore his SB win, all his MVPs, his best career passer rating of all time, and that he is 1st ballot hall of fame QB. Rodgers is crap because he didnt play day one by replacing a SB winning, multi MVP, first ballot hall of fame QB in Brett. Colin is a moron.
Well I am a packers fan and I will miss Arron Rogers but I don’t think the jets will win a super bowl
